2019 Matthew Feldman Community Relations Award

Award Guidelines

        In 1995 a subcommittee of the Advisory Board on Community Relations recommended that the advisory board institute an annual award to be presented to

an individual or group who best exemplifies efforts to improve community relations in Teaneck.

Award Criteria:

The award recipient(s):

• Must live or work in Teaneck
• Has worked to improve intergroup and/or community relations
• Has promoted a spirit of community
• Exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism

Requests for award nominees can be publicized through notices to community organizations, including religious congregations, press releases and flyers.

The award will be presented by the Chair of the Advisory Board at a Township Council Meeting that will include a reception (cake and coffee) in honor of the award recipient.
