Pursuant to the authority vested in me under the Council-Manager Plan, N.J.S.A. 40:69A81, et. seq., and Chapter 29, Section 7 of the Code of the Township of Teaneck, I issue the following\u00a0Executive<\/span>\u00a0Order<\/span>:<\/p>\n

WHEREAS, in consultation with and at the recommendation of, Township of Teaneck Health Officer Ken Katter and OEM Director Larry Robertson.
\nNOW THEREFORE, I, Dean B. Kazinci, as Township Manager, do hereby\u00a0order<\/span>\u00a0and direct that:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The Phelps Park Dog Park shall open to the public on Saturday, June 6, 2020 with strict adherence to social distancing guidelines. The following rules are in place:
    \na. All users of the dog park shall practice social distancing of at least six or more feet.
    \nb. Open daily from 7 AM to 7 PM.
    \nc. Limited to 2 dogs per visitor.
    \nd. Limited to 6 visitors in the large dog run, and 3 visitors in the small dog run at any given time.
    \ne. All visitors must maintain enough control over their pets via voice control to comply with social distancing guidelines.
    \nf. Dog park amenities, including shared water dishes, toys, and other materials, should not be used by dogs or handled by visitors.
    \ng. Visitors must wear a mask or face covering in the dog park when social distancing measures are difficult to maintain, except where doing so would inhibit that individual\u2019s health.
    \nh. Personal hand sanitizers should be used following any touching of gate or other items within dog park.<\/li>\n
  2. This Order<\/span> shall take effect beginning 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020, and shall remain in effect until such time as it is determined by me that an emergency no longer exists.<\/li>\n
  3. This Executive<\/span>\u00a0Order<\/span> may be supplemented or amended as the COVID-19 health emergency continues in\u00a0order<\/span> to effectuate its purpose and terms set forth herein.<\/li>\n
  4. A copy of this Executive<\/span>\u00a0Order<\/span>\u00a0shall be immediately transmitted to the Council of the Township of Teaneck.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
